Riley and I spent Saturday helping with the organization of a "Mother Daughter" tea. All proceeds are going to the Milestone House. We helped setting up the table and "surprisingly" we volunteer to help with the kitchen!!! Gwen, the Chef, was amazing and show us how to create each little dessert plate.
You may ask "What is the Milestone House"?
It's the child of an amazing lady here in Oceanside who build a house for teenagers with no family and no support system. Those girls are able to go to high school and still have a "family" to go back to in the evening. Click on the link below to read more about it.
